Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa: Rural Food Project information provided by: County of Sonoma Mental Health

Distributes food to the working poor, seniors awaiting their next Social Security check, farmworkers, homeless children, and the disabled. Many don't have cars, so we drive to rural sites in Sonoma and Lake counties. Assists homeless shelters and residents in transitional housing in Santa Rosa, managed by Catholic Charities. In partnership with Redwood Empire Food Bank and many churches and community organizations.
Monthly distribution sites Graton, Windsor, Boyes Hot Springs, La Luz/Boyes Hot Springs, Fulton, Guerneville, Cloverdale, Sonoma, Occidental, school lunch through education department, Middletown, Kelseyville, remote dwellings where seniors and vineyard workers live.
